Sustainability Week Basel
Sustainability Week returns to the University of Basel in March 2024! From March 18th to 23rd, 2024, our campus will buzz with events that cover the full spectrum of sustainability. This local affair is part of the larger Sustainability Week Switzerland, we're celebrating six years of sustainability excellence since joining the movement in 2018.

Expect insightful lectures, engaging panel discussions, hands-on workshops, informative excursions, plant based cuisines, eco-friendly swaps, bike repair corners, and a sustainable cinema. We will not not just talk about trees, we’re diving deep into conversations on ecological and social sustainability to pave the way for equitable futures.

Kick-off event Sustainability Weeks

The various sustainability weeks at Swiss universities start with the kick-off event "Think Global - Act Local" in Basel. Lectures and panel discussions show regional sustainability measures. Aperitif afterwards.
