Past Events and Campaigns
Event Series
May-December 2021
Building on the success of the Sustainability Weeks in March, the AG wanted to help meet this demand throughout the rest of the year. For this reason, it organised four events and invited experts to speak to a mixed audience of university members and the public.
Topics included evidence-based development cooperation to effectively for the effective fight against global poverty, systemic global injustice, the Climate Justice Initiative and Effective Altruism.
Social Media Campaign 'Info Hub'
March-December 2021
This project was about educating the university community and the people who follow our social media about sustainability. Every week an interesting fact was presented on Instagram and Facebook, and a few days later the solution to the presented problem. The topics ranged from fashion, food and travel to energy and social sustainability. The group wanted to generate a deeper understanding of the issues we face and at the same time give practical tips for a more sustainable life.

Through collaborations with local businesses and organisations, the group also offered coupons to those who interacted with the posts. In this way, attention was generated for the topic of sustainability and at the same time local, sustainable restaurants, shops and foundations were supported.
